Anybody have any recommendations on a good car cover for my 944? Even though it will be garaged I still want to cover it. Breathability, so moisture doesn't get trapped underneath. Ideas? Tnx Alex

Wolf's breathable gray quilted model (maybe called the Noah) is excellent. I have used the same one outdoors in the Marylannd Mountains year round since Christmas 2001 and it is in excellent shape still. Breathes well, can sometimes leave little fuzzies when it dries after a big soaking or a long time buried under snow but excellent product, for sure.

This is what i use now and i love it.
Cotton Car cover
I also have a Stromtech outdoor cover. Personally, DONT USE ANY outdoor cover unless you have the cotton underneath it. They WILL scratch. Covers dont protect from dings like the page says either. Dent Wizards should be sending me holiday cards for as often as i go.
Also, before you put a cover on, make sure your car is WASHED and paint is clean. The cover will just be scraping dirt along the finish otherwise. And there is a certain method to removing and putting a cover on. If you arent familiar with it ask, dont just slide the cover on and off, that will scratch the paint too.
I speak from experience.

Thanks, I had a car cover for a tbird I had years ago while I was in the service it scratched from wind I think. I had it tied pretty tight too. But away for mos. at a time couldn't keep an eye on it. At least it will be inside this time. I always read the "destructions" first. Tnx Alex. Got to go pick up the car now. Later

I park in a garage also. I just purchased a Dustop cover from Covercraft. I called them and that's the one they recommended for indoor use. It should arrive tomorrow. I'll let you know what it's like when I get it.

Right now Covercraft has some 15ft covers in their clearance area for less than $20 (944's are 14ft and change.) They list them as "perfect for indoor use"
Good luck and Merry X-Mas!
