semi OT... Special Shock Application Q's
A friend of mine here at work is a disabled skier... He just got a new "ski chair"... It is wicked high-tech...
Ok, the PCAR related part... it is "sprung" with an Ohlins coilover! Very cool application!
Soooo... The questions: He wants to be able to understand how to adjust things on it... It has a threaded collar, progressive spring, remote resevoir with adjustment ****... Does anybody know, or know someone, who's a guru on Ohlins?
I'd like to be able to put my friend in touch with someone who can help him dial it in.
Thanks for the rennlist BW!

Go to any motorcycle forum and ask this same question. Ohlins are the brand of choice for MC guys.

I'd think also that Ohlins would be happy to provide info, given the very cool application. I'd find the factory website, look for a phone # or email, and get in touch with a factory tech rep.

Does the shock look like this?
The shock should be double-adjustable. The black ring/**** on the shock under the spring is for rebound damping and the **** on the remote resevoir is for compression damping.
