Maybe we take this whole "rice" thing too far. I think the decals are subtle enough that they're not abnoxious and indicative of a teen mentality. No flames, but if you like it, enjoy it. btw-tifosiman, I did get it ;-)

Then I don't see how folks can diss the Honduh crowd for their Type R stickers. Same thing.

Personally, I say, your car, do what you want. Just don't be dissing the Honduh crowd for their Type R stickers or the Nissan crowd for their GTR badges, or....

i dont have a problem with the Type R or VTEC stickers. Even if people put them on there, nobody knows what the hell it means.

I mean, whos gonna see a 944 Clubsport and be like "They never made a clubsport!". Most people are gonna be like "what the hell is a 944?" or "what the hell is a clubsport?"

Same with hondas. What the hell is a type r? I dont even know the answer to that one...

Rice is North American slang for anything to do with being a "Riceboy." Riceboy is not a racial slur either. It doesn't really mean Asian, which is explained quite well on the Riceboy Page.

Typically, it has to do with putting "sponsor" stickers on you road car (if you're unsponsored), putting badges that do not belong on your car, grotesque body kits, big wings, etc.

Oh Ok... So its like what we would call a "Chav" over here in the Uk...

...someone who drives his mums shopping car around with his steroe so loud you'd think he was hosting an open air concert in his boot... wnats to be "The Fast and the Furious" but ends up being the "Gimp and the Gormless"

well the problem inherent with the vtec stickers, the gtr or type r badges, is that the car has no performance modifications. it doesn't even have one of the available options that the type r or gtr would have had. my friend who has a 96 auto civic ex (which has no vtec) has a vtec sticker on there. if they actually had any of that stuff, by all means go ahead. but in the case of putting the clubsport decal, if you have the m030 package and the optional 924 mirror package, why not?

I have no issues with the sticker if the car is exact min specs of the real club sport. The sticker is not that great asthetics wise anyways! The turbo fender sticker is much more cool and you have the turbo already!

It's undoubtedly much less great aesthetics-wise than those BLING BLING white IC pipes, white Fuchs wheels, A-pillar-mounted gauges and white dials, isn't it ?

Yes much much less... its barely recognisable and the CS means almost nothing to most people, even 944 guru's.

PS they are phone dials that mimic the "Cup" style.
