So, did you get it? How bad does it look? What did it go for? Can you hear the vultures?

LOL the car sold for 1,125 plus 230$ in auction fees.... to oklahoma foreign I believe...THats way to much for me to spend on that....SO I guess I wait for the next one they show in their inventory to come up in 2 weeks...! SO we will do it all over again...I will have to post some pics of that one as well...So in 2 wed from today.....I have been looking all over the country for about the last 2 weeks..I feel confident I will get one within the next month or so....

If the next one is in better condition than this one, what price will you pay for that one?

THe next one was rear ended, about as hard of an impact as the other one on the front...SO it should go cheaper also..I just figured If I am going to spend over a 1000$ on one, I would rather have the front end be good and a screwed up rear rather then vise versa......The next one I will probably go up to at least 1200$...Since the front is ok....

Rats.. it looks like OK Foreign is watching the list too. You've got some competiton. It is worth noting that since the engine and trans are rigidly connected via a substantial structural part (the torque tube) a good pop to either the front OR the rear can do damage to either the engine OR the trans, even if the hit was on the other end of the car. No to be negative but it would suck to spend $1500 for a rear hit and find out the torque tube rammed in to the block. As Mike said, the small parts add up fast. It seems there are a lot of misc 951 parts on e-bay nowadays. Speaking as someone who just parted out a 951, it can get very messy and you need a lot of space to store all the take off stuff. Impacts and an air compressor are a must-have.

Best of luck with it!

Is this car an '86? Or an '87+? If it has a 180 mph speedometer I will take the gauge cluster!
