Default A couple of questions

Hi Guys,
a few days ago I had a new waterpump installed, along with the front engine seals and a cambelt.

I've had to add a bit of coolant after the last couple of drives, is that to be expected, put about a cup full in each time.

Also I am still noticing oil under the crankshaft pulley. Could I expect to see some residual oil or is it quite common to not being able to fix a leak completely.

I'm guessing this is semi-common. I just replaced my front seals on the n/a not too long ago (maybe 700 miles & 2 months ago) and similarly see evidence of oil under the crank pulley. I raised this question about a month ago and got a couple of "me too" and "it might take some time to seal properly" and "you might have to mess with them some more" responses. I know of at least one other person that had to replace the crank seal again, so I guess it happens (unfortunately). Here's to hoping your future is drip-free. . .
