Yes and Yes. If you have the intake T-body from your 83 you could use it on your 87, non S.

I could very well be wrong, but I thought the vacumn hookup line out the bottom of these manifolds were different, starting in 85/2. Making it not an easy switch. Maybe?

FWIW, the early intake was superceded about 5 times, the last update to the intake appears to be in 1988.

IIRC, the early intake and t-body I have down in the basement both have additional vacuum line hookups that aren't on the intake and t-body on my 88 924S. I'll doublecheck later on, but I am also pretty sure the plenum is smaller on the earlier intake. Other than that they interchange without a hitch.

Guys, the first version of the manifold was updated (superceded by) with the later versions. So, while both of you are probably right, they will interchange. You will probably have to grab a vaccum supply from somewhere else (which should be no big deal)

Wasn't trying to say an earlier one wouldn't work Matt, I was merely pointing out that there are slight differences, like vac ports that might need plugs or have a slightly different orientation.
