Looks like a good case of Might over Matter. Glad to Dannos car back on the road also. Dimitry, so how close did the straightening get it to spec? Looks pretty straight so far. I guess you'll know when you start the nose panel, facia, and lights.

How close did it come out? I need to do a little of this on my N/A, I'm just not sure how much straightening needs to be done yet.

Dmitry,

Sorry I could't make it on Sunday. Sundays are generally reserved for my real Boss (in life) at home. How did it go?

Dmitry generally speaking you normally put the car on a frame machine or else you strap the car to the ground and then you use a series of winches cables and chains and a some lasers connected to computers to pull everything back within 0.5mm of the spec. That being said your way works to an extent but the only problem you will really run into there is that the ground isn't really level so making your front end level won't help any. I'm assuming that you are only doing this temporarily until you can raise the money to really get it straightened?

On another note did you know the front end of your car had been resprayed before?

Straightening is pretty darn close. I still need to pull the front right a bit forward - about 1/4 or 1/8 of an inch. Getting the pop up lights to work will be the hardest part.

After new panels and paint - I don't think even a trained eye will be able to tell it was in an accident - and since it didn't effect suspension or alignment - I don't really mind.
