I am presently looking for a 951 to purchase within the next 2-8 weeks.....been doing research and am looking for advice as to what to expect to pay. Prices for these seem to be all over the map, European Car just ran a buyers guide with prices listed......but many of you out there seemed to have found models for about 7-8k with < 75-80k on the odo. I have found many with asking prices north of these figures, but it seems the prices are staying high, yet cars seem to be staying on the market for longer periods of time. Any helpful info / guidance would be much appreciated. Also, if recent work has been done (belts, timing, clutch, etc) how much more will that add to price of car.......should the buyer expect to recoup all recent expenses incurred??

Thanks to all those replying.

I have been looking now for the past 2 months and have not found many exceptional cars. The ones with low miles that have been well kept are well north of 10k. I have found a few well kept cars with over 100k miles that have fallen between 7k and 10k. There are a ton of cars that need alot of maint. or have sketchy records in the 7k to 10k range. Just beware and remember you are buying a 17 or 18 year old car.
