I hear you, I paid $7200 for an 87 with 80K miles, timing belts were replaced, new AV sport tires and shocks, good paint and clean white interior. I replaced the turbo water pump, the wastegate, rotors (too close to the wear limit) and rebuilt the ball joints (thanks Travis). I added an accuboost and chips. It spends many days on different tracks and was run over 4,000 miles this year. Doesn’t use oil, stays cool and has had no maintenance issues. This year it bumped a deer (stupid animals) had two walnuts drop on the hood and had tar splashed on the fender. All caused minor scratches and dings that will be fixed this winter. Then, back to the road it will go.

Here is a nice one on Ebay. The guy sent an email to me letting me know that his Buy it now price is $12,000. He is not getting that much action on his auction. I know it does not have black int but it looks like a nice car.

that one on ebay once had the timingbelt snapped, i spoke to the guy and he said they did a valve job. The car looks really good thought and i have it on my watch list.
