Hey Ian are the headlight surrounds different for the turbo covers if so I need to get them if they are available. I test fitted the parts and it looks like there will be a gap.

I'm still interested in these...but could you add the balance shaft cover and give me a total price? What all will come with that timing cover?

Default Are the intercooler hard pipes still available?

Could really use the long one, but will happily take both to make things easy.

This car is gone dead and burried somewhere in backwood NC.

So I am sorry to report that I do not have any parts to send out, I thought about bringing the wreck up to NYC with me, but then I would be sleeping in a pile of 944 parts (For a long time that was a fantasy of mine, but when you wake up with a sway bar in the wrong place you will soon change your toon).

To all those with your projects best of luck finding the parts.....

This is hilarious!!! It's even funnier after someone points out the age of the thread and requests are still made. Guys, how about checking the date on the thread??

Tifo will never get my Fuchs!

Yeah, I pretty much picked that car clean. Hopefully there will be a thread in the next 12 months going over the 3.0 turbo project it spawned into.

The engine's doing quite well...although feeling a bit 'seperated' at this point (it's now completely disassembled). I'd really hoped to have it installed & running about now, but some other projects have bumped themselves in priorities.

The next steps are going to be getting the cylinder sleeves, new pistons & rods, new turbo (need something more appropriate for a 3.0L), and new exhaust (once again, 3.0L).

Everything's all tenatively designed & planned out, short of the engine management (still in the air between the MegaSquirt and TEC-3 setups...all dependant on how some of the other MS projects go).

That said, your transmisison is currently getting a lot of use, and is sporting a fresh red & black paintjob. It's in the garage at the moment getting a short shifter installed as well.
