Option code "H50" ????
My autocross buddy and I are looking at an early 944, it has the option code H50, anyone know what that one is?
I've checked all my books, the option de-coder, 968.net, 968UK, Pelican, and some general internet searches.....no luck.
Anybody?
Thanks,
Jason

Is H50 the first option listed? If so, my 83 had a C70. I was told it had something to do with the early destination code. Could your car have been from Canada? Just a crude guess actually.

wow. that one is a stumper Jason.
if you really want to know what it is, I can try contacting a friend of mine that works at the factory museum in stuttgart - he should be able to find out.

I email Adrian and he said that most likely it is a company code for multiple options. Since the front/rear sways and Koni shocks didn't appear as an option I'll assume that it's that.
Here is the best list I've found for option codes:

I realize this post was from back in 2004 but did any resolution ever come for the H50 code ? I've got an 1984 944 and it has the H50 and I cannot find that code description anywhere. All other codes I have, match up to the options I have on the car. I have the factory alarm and F/R sways, but they do not have an option code. I do have LSD though : p No wonder why I leave dual black patches at every burn out ! hahaha
