Default S2 motor parts

They buyer for my motor hasn't made the deposit payment and hasn't responded to my e-mails so I'm assuming they are backing out. Since there seemed to be more interest in parts of the motor than the entire motor due to it's questionable history I am just going to part the motor out. Let me know what you need or want. For those of you who don't know this is an 3.0L 16v motor out of an '89 944S2 with 160K.

How much was the purchase price for this motor? I'd be interested in the entire engine depending on price, but either way I would like to get a hold of the head and intake.

I originally wanted $2500 for the complete motor, wiring harness, DME, and module but it ended up selling on ebay for $1825. The intake manifold has already been spoken for but the head is still available.

Honestly I felt the selling price on ebay was a bit on the low side and the motor is worth a lot more in parts. With my current unemployment situation I can use all the extra cash I can right now which is why I am parting it.

I know I'm going to regret this, but I'm going to have to pass on the head. I just don't have the time right now to do what I want with it, and don't have the room for extra parts.

Default EDIT: Still a lot of S2 motor parts left.

Well the motor is all apart now and everything is in good shape so here's what I've got up for sale:
-intake manifold $175 ( has a small nic in it where The wrench dug in when I tried to get the brake master cylinder off without first pulling the intake.
-Complete Engine wiring harness SOLD
-Fuel Rail with injectors, pressure regulator, and damper $75
-Starter SOLD
-Head
-cams
-Exhaust headers $100
-Alternator $75 ( I will check to make sure it is working before a sale is finalized)
-AC compressor $100 ( This is a remanufactured unit that looks to be good. The system was still holding charge when I removed the motor and the compressor spins freely.)
-Short block ( This is pending sale right now but you never know it might fall through.)

Prices do not include shipping and are just a ballpark of what I've seen these things go for so feel free to make an offer. If you don't see something you need on the list let me know, I probably just forgot to put it on the list.

Just found the DME, power steering pump, and a bunch of misc. relays and control boxes. I've also still got a bunch of interior and body pieces just ask me for what you need and I'll let you know if I've got it.
