How nice of you! (then again, if you ever get hitched, it will be your car again, eh?)

Most generous gift!! I would think the thing to get her would be a gift certificate for a DE spot at Putnam (my first track) in the spring. Put the certificate in an envelope and hand it to her, she asks what she'll drive and give her the keys!
As a bonus, you could also attend. I always was a bit sad that my wife never wanted to attend a DE. I think it would make getting approval to go a lot easier...
Of course this leads to much more spending on the cars, ask Darth, he'll confirm.....
Cheers

Boost, just tread lightly man! If this isnt "the one" you will be drinking your dinner in about three years over this kind act of benevolence.
I for one could never do it. By my nature I distrust people. Its not that Im paranoid or anything, I just think that everyone is out to get me.
I salute you brother. This is why I dont think a woman could stand me long enough to know me.

Victoria's Secret (always good). Something red. Give her the keys a second (in another VS box) and tell her they go with the item in the first box.
Of course, since you said she is sharp, she'll probably thank you for getting her two things that are sort of presents for you.

xboost, what a generous and fun gift. I do have a couple of thoughts:
- As mentioned above, you two may get hitched someday and the 944s will be yours again, but what if it doesn't work out? I wouldn't make it a gift unless you'd be OK with her taking it with her in such a scenario.
- Obviously these cars need plenty of TLC to remain reliable. Giving this gift probably obligates you to be the primary mechanic as long as you're together. I think you enjoy that sort of thing, but it's something to consider since it's her primary transportation so she'd need any fixes right away.
- Finally, as generous as that gift is, I think you should get her a small, girly, non-car-related gift as well. It will be much appreciated. Trust me, I've been married for 12 years. Good luck!

Chris924S, you should have wrapped the keys in a TripTik to Toronto, navigating directly through Lake Erie to "bypass traffic". Subtle, but effective.
