he even used the na fenders and just modified them to fit the 951 bumper

Maybe not easy, but possible. I've got an 83 that looks like an S2 (idiot check, S2 and turbo front ends are the same, right..?) I wish I had more details...but I wasn't the owner at the time. Can give you the # of the shop that did the switch, if you want. This was over 10 years ago now, tho...

Tifos car is my PC background
I'm in process of purchasing a wrecked 89 turbo and was wondering if the front end parts would fit.. I would really love to use the 951 fenders and everthing else because i'll have access to all the part i'll need
I remember there was a guy on Pelican forums with an 84 NA, he did a 951 front end conversion and 968 rear. The car looked super cool...

I saw a tuner show where they changed a BMW 3-series front end to fit a Honda Civic. 951 on a 944 would be just a bit easier than that.

Don't forget that many 944 n/a's that have the 951 front end look is exactly that: a 951 front end aftermarket LOOKALIKE nose that's made to fix exactly on the 944 n/a body. This is different than finding a used 951 nose and grafting it on an n/a.

PS: I saw the BMW nose on an Escort car tuner show - man, they spent more $$ on that car than a decent E36 3-series would cost, and at the end of the day, the car was still a crappy Escort. Not that there's anything wrong with a crappy Escort.

That's right, it was on an Escort, not Civic - not that there is any real difference between the two.

well... guess that idea didn't go too far
reason i was asking i have a swap on my 84 Rabbit from stupid square North American lights to euro look round ones, i had to use new radiator support and two new fenders to do that.

The swap is a direct bolt on, but you will need all the body panels off a 951 mentioned above. The aftermarket lookalike nose is quite...ugly. It ruins the lines of the n/a.
