Whose car has the most Mileage?
My S2 has 173K miles, original engine... any stories from guys who also have high miles on their cars? Curious to see what numbers we get...

no, i'm taking it down. Actually, this is it's new home, its getting there, did more work this past weekend.
It's goign to have it's own greenhouse this year(https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-944-951-968-forum/120323-my-garage-with-my-porsche-lots-of-pics.html), you probably didn't see the pictures since you joined, but here is this years personal 944 greenhouse.
And I don't really recall for sure, but I know one of andy's 944's has a high number mileage like that, not sure if it is the one he changed the engine, or another one.
Anyway, back to the scheduled program. So someone speak up?! Mine's got 150k or so, that doesn't qualify I suppose. The volvo wagon I sold had 274k though.

Dev: at least your car gets a greenhouse! Lucky car... mine gets a car cover as a blanket for these NE Winters!

hmm.. not sure, mightve been around here. I just recall the number as these threads come up once in a while. Straying off topic again (sorry) my friend has a range rover like mine, with 512k on the ORIGINAL NEVER REBUILT engine.

Do a search on a very long thread of the highest mileage cars. I had an 86 with 350k on original engine, trans, turbo, and almost got me in jail doing 150+ mph (pulled over at 109) 3 years back with 346k on the motor

Andy (nine44) has an n/a with over 300k on it.

IIRC, one of the highest mileage cars on Rennlist is Josh B's 944S2 with over 300K. Every time my father asks about our 146K S2's lifespan, I think of Josh's car.
It formerly belonged to "Deepice" who no longer posts in these forums. Maybe Josh will chime in on its current condition.
