I have a 1991 Caddy Eldorado with 221,000 miles - all original - in excellent shape. Burns the tires off the line - 5.0 V-8 fwd.

Someone else mentioned this too, It happened once to me, and I reloaded the picture and it seemed fine since. Refresh the page, let me know if it's still doing it.

My 944 has 157,000 miles on what I believe is the original engine. The POs were idiots who totally neglected the car, so I've started replacing every seal and gasket, maybe I'll do the bearings too, and hopefully I can keep racking up the mileage.

212k miles on my 951... Rolled over 212 sometime on sunday. Only 2k miles till I hit 20k since purchase Ive checked the records, havent found anything about a clutch job....

My grandparents have a Toyota Landcruiser that had 600k on it the last time I visted... In 99 I think. It had been in a few accidents, had a small army of kids learn to drive on it, and had an engine fire a few years ago. IIRC the shop replaced all the hoses and junk and it worked. The thing gets *maybe* 5MPG with the A/C OFF. Of course they live in Venezuala where gas works out to maybe 10 cents a gallon US or something

I think sh944 has something like 300k on his white 83 IIRC. Original motor, and the car is still incredible.

Only 141k, but consider that it only had 108k when I bought it in July of 2003 . . . . gimme a few years...

I was responsible for about 90k of the 169k or so that my 83 had when I sold it . . .

Man, I thought mine was a relic at 178,000 but I guess that's nothing. I'm responsible for less than 1,000 of it though. The n/a car has about 122K and I'm responsible for about 4,000 of those.

Let's see - 178,000 + 122,000 = 300,000 miles (give or take a few), figure average gas mileage about 25mpg to be conservative = 12,000 gallons of gas at an estimated average of $1.50 a gallon = $18,000 just in gas by P.O.'s and myself just to get them here. That does not factor in oil, filters, replacement parts, etc. Interesting.
