My buddy got his insurance to cover some of his autoX crash. He hopes of repairing, but the frame is trashed beyond what I will see fixable.

Our plan is to find a good replacement and transfer some of the good parts off his to enhance the new one.
After it's all said and done, we will be parting a 84' NA that was in concours condition (interior/fuchs 16"/engine/trans/seats)

Anyways we hope to find a good replacement for his car here.
I've looked around at Autotrader, Ebay, Craiglist, PCA chapters, Pelican, local newspapers......ect. But no such luck in finding what were after.
If you own or know someone that has a car that falls into these specs please PM me.

Color: 1st choice Red, but will consider others.
Year: 1st choice 84 or 89, but will consider others.
Trans: Manual LSD, but will consider non-LSD
Miles: Under 60k prefered, but will consider higher miles in good shape.
Body: As good as possible, but no hardcore repaired damage.
Engine: Blown ok (we have a 70k fresh one)
Location: Within WA,OR,ID, or Nothern CA.
Price: below $6k
I know we are shooting high, but hey, why not.

The ideal match would be a garage queen with a broken timing belt. (we can dream can't we)

A finder's fee could be in store for the right one.

Well things are looking better, we are going to look at Andrew's car within the next week or so.
Here is the car we replacing, it's such a shame to see one in this good of shape go down, doh!!! 60k mile beauty.
I'll be picking this up, I'm not sure if I will fix it or part it.

 

Jason, did you try Russell yet? Might be able to talk him out of something - not sure he has any red ones.

 

I might know of another car that is here in Wenatchee and the owner was looking to sell it last year.


It is a one lady owner 1984 944, 78,000 miles, White on Blue leather, Matching White Fuchs. They were asking $7500 last year but I know they did not sell it.

I do not think they would take less then $6000 for it but I could try if you wanted.
