Default Wheels for sale - 18 inch Turbo Twists

Hey guys,
I know this isnt the classified section, but before I put these on ebay I wanted to give everyone on rennlist a chance,if anyone is interested of course. If there are any problems, just let me know and remove the thread I suppose.
I have a set of 18 inch Turbo Twists,Oem with center caps.
18 x 10 & 18 x 8
The tires are not avaliable because they are not useable at this point.
The Rims are Straight and true but need to be refinished,As you will see in the pictures they have several scratches and scrapes. They arent for show,Fits 87 + late off set 944 Turbo.
If anybody is interested, let me know.Shipping will be about 30.00 each wheel. UPS.

Actually,One wheel as seen in the photo has the most scrape around the edge,(rear) and the other rear has light scrapes,Both front rims have small blemeshish but are in much better condition.Once again, these rims are meant to be refinished.

The first reasonable offer plus shipping will be considered sold, money order , or paypal pref.
If you are interested in more pictures.Email me at eightyonemtgp@aol.com
Thank you
Jurg/Charlton

Will they not fit an 86.... period? Or can you use adapters or spacers?

You can use spacers to get them to fit. 1" bolt-on spacers would do the trick.

Thanks Sam... so any wheels that would ultimately fit the 87+ cars will also fit an 86 with a 1 inch adapter.... cool....

Thanks Sam for taking care of the answer for me.
These fit the 86 with spacers,I used to have a similar set on my 86 NA and it looked good.
,, But like I said they need to be refinished, and for the price range im looking for I think they could be one hell of a deal.

Early and late cars have a 30mm offset difference. That is about 1.2 inches.

Yeah, those Boxster rims are only 7" wide, so you can get away with a thicker spacer and pushing the wheel outwards a little. But if you're using 8" or wider than stock rims, you want to increase the effective offset compared to stock to place most of the extra rim-width on the inside where there's more room. So a 1" or Porsche 21mm spacer would work just fine. There were actually two different offsets for the 18x10" rear wheel. The 40mm one would bolt on just fine on an '86 car. The 65mm offset would need a spacer.
