Searched but still unsure. Can I put jack stands here (marked by white edits)? My stands will fit perfectly here and it looks like it will be solid as a rock.

I put them on the thick diagonal aluminum things just above/inside of your white marks. You could drop the car on them and the jack stand will hardly put a knick on them. I don't know about the tube ends, which is what it looks like you are referring to in the photo.

It's a calculated risk. I'm sure you can do it and never break or bend anything - but why take the risk, when the intended jack stand point is right there a few inches away??

You'll see in the pic I posted, I used the shaped jack point for my floor jack. It may work nice for the factory spare tire jack, which has a deep notch that slips into it. It looks like a real scary place to put a jack stand.
The only reason I even feel comfortable using a floor jack there is because the cup on this jack had raised spots that I could put in the center of the jack point (which hopefully would prevent it from slipping off altogether).

I'm not advocating it, but if you feel more comfortable using the torsion bar tube for a jack point, make sure you put the jack as close to the trailing arm as possible.

I put my stands right on the t-bar tube, no problem - if you've ever seen it off the car, you know it's hugely beefy and there's no issue with strength or flex.

I usually put mine on the torsion bar support that is next to the back jacking point. I have left cars sitting like that for a few weeks at a time with not problem.
