Burnout pics.

Umm, Rock.. IF you have them, do NOT post pics of this from your car. A lot of folks would be very turned off to see a 944fest project car abused this way. While some could make the argument it is less of a strain on the drivetrain to spin vs. a normal hard launch, it is serious abuse of the drivetrain and when parts let go you won't get any sympathy from a lot of us who see this thread.
Seriously, if you want to do this, get a Mustang, Camaro or a old Mopar
I really hate to see this done to fine german stuff. The oversteer in a turn is one thing, OK, but the clutch dropping burnouts should be punishable with driving a Yugo for a year.

Campeck, I bet your neighbors hate you. Seriously, I bet they do. If I pulled that in any neighborhood around here I would be arrested!
On a side note, nice hookah! That is the BEST picture of Rennlisters I have ever seen!!! LOL!!!

Open diffs will spin both tires occasionally, when conditions are just about perfect...
Especially when you shock them hard enough, usually before they go BOOM!
A little throttle modulation in the Mustang will provide plenty of traction loss, the strategy there is NOT to spin!

Naw man im done with the burnouts. Im more into the drifting game now, which I dont even do that often.
However I think the 944fest tranny is going kaputt anyway. There was a 2nd gear problem that is getting worse (syncros?). The tranny also makes very funny noises too, and whenever im in the rain the tires just spin or one tire drives normally, and the other tire just spins which sways the car in one direction.
Anyway! Im not planning on grenading the 944Fest, John D. limited edition 100 dollar speedometer less tranny anytime soon. Thanks still does go out to the 944fest crew! Yay!

fty - his dad started it :P
First time I've ever dumped a clutch in my 951, and I promised my 944 I wouldn't do that to it.
Don't plan on it again - feels mean.

I figured out why campeck can abuse his car and not lose sleep...anything breaks; his dad is paying for it.
