Default BAH! new electrical issues!

Alright. I got in my car today, and started it up, dropped the parking brake lever, and the light went off for about a second and a half...that's both the warning light in the dash and on the center console... and then it came back on, and started flickering as I was going down the road. I checked MANY times that the brake lever was all the way released and it was. Then after a bit, the brake light stopped flickering, and my temp gauge started jumping around. that stopped for a little, and the brake light started again...

What does this sound like to you? to me, I'm thinking it's a bad ground....

First check the switch for the parking brake.
But it sounds like a grounding issue to me as well.

I was thinking, I may be low on brake fluid, which wouldn't make much sense to me cuz I just bled the system, but my car does have the fluid level sensor, that'd make it flicker wouldn't it?

Yeah, that's the brake fluid level warning light, but all of these problems at once sounds like another issue. Check the brake fluid level to be safe.

Of course you should check your brake fluid level, then make sure that the switch is working correctly, it may need adjustment. For instance, you might try taping it down and see if the light still comes on.

Ok. I checked the brake fluid level and it was low...this confused me as I just bled them on Halloween... so I bled them again today and left PLENTY of fluid in the resevoir. brake pads have plenty left on them, I checked to make sure each bleeder valve was tight, which they were... Now that there is plenty of fluid, the light stays out. I inspected they hydraulic lines, and the only one that showed signs of leakage is from the clutch master cylinder to the clutch slave. It's leaking from the transition from metal line to rubber line halfway down. doesn't seem to be leaking much, but I'm gonna watch it. Luckily we have a spare, new one my dad bought for the 951 which if this is the problem, I'm going to put it on.

Anyone have problems with this hose?

Yep, that hose was leaking on my 83 when it was totaled. Not too much to expect too replace that hose every 20 years or so.

So in this case the warning light told you exactly what it was supposed to tell you. Low fluid because of a hydraulic leak.
