It is so scary to think about what some "service centers" consider service. Lots of places out there don't spend enough money on training, and hiring good technicians.

I have no trust on these quick lube shops. They either overtighten or forget to tighten the drain plug. I've heard too many incidents regarding oil drain plugs working loose while driving. I've also heard incidents when they overtightened the drain plug and end up stripping the threads.

hey guys, for what it is worth, if you try to fill up a 993 without running the engine you are going to have a big mess. You can get about 8 quarts in before you have to run the engine but there's no way your giong to get all the oil in there. Use the quick lube places if you dont care about the car, if you only pay min. wage, you get min. wage help.
