It's snowing here in CT too. Depressing. My baby is in the garage and I know I have to get used to leaving her there more often now...

Snow? No problem - it means I'll be having fun with my Subaru instead of my Porsche!

Thank God, I just sent a whole bunch of snow tires up that way...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

I hate the stuff too but it would be really nice if it continued up there.

It gets so cold here that the moisture in the air freezes and falls to the ground!

Yep, 3 inches on my driveway at the moment... My winter cars are Audi Quattros.

I need to get a Subaru! They are sooo much fun in the snow! What kind of Subaru do you think I could get in trade for a '99 Nissan Alitma, with 88k miles and the full luxury package (leather, premium sound, alloy wheels, etc.)?

Have to drive the 951 in the snow before I decided weather or not to get pissed off about snow.

Altho it never really snows in my area... Slush just falls from the sky Gotta dive the 951 up to the ski resorts and see how things go... Hopefully I dont bust myself up trying to learn to board this winter...

Well, first off, you won't be able to get a new Subbie with just your trade in. That said, either the Legacy or the Imprezza are great cars - the Legacy & Outback wagon offer more room for stuff than the Imprezza platform. The Forester is a wagon /mini SUV body on the Imprezza platform - a competent mini-SUV, but I just don't like the body style that much.

Used, you can probably get a decent 95+ Legacy or Imprezza with the cash you get for your Nissan. (Don't trade it in - you'll get more $$ if you sell it privately)

You will.. make sure to have lots of stuff to take care of pain and bruisies on your knees and backside. I spent a winter boarding durring the week and ski patrol (on skis) over the weekends and could never find a reason to switch from skiing. It's all about image (as near I can tell), and I'm about as far from the kind of person that cares about image as one can get.

We've had a couple snowfalls here in AZ already.... I'll be skiing in 2 weeks. God, I *LOVE* snow.. so glad I got the hell out of the south where it never snows.
