I vote color matched as well. The idea is to make it look like the car was born with it.

I still think black will look good on any color, same as the rear spoiler. I think colormatched will look more aftermarket than black. The small "lip" on 87-95 928's is black.

You can always use a black primer and if you don't like it, then paint it. I think the black may balance out the spoiler like the red 951 with the gray splitter I've seen around here, but I vote colormatched.

I think black looks good, but I have to vote for color matched as well. You car (paint jog) looks waaaaaay too good to not paint the lip to match

Whoa, hold on here, I didn't realize this was a pole for Lead Foot's car - I though this was just a general "what would you prefer" thread. For your car I say Colormatched. pardon my last 3 posts.

This is a very delicate process - i would recommend a 2nd opinion. Would you like my shipping address?

Any idea whether you will start making these for other listers? And how much?

If you want I test on for you made from CF and see how long it standup to track use. Then I can tell you if will last. Geo can test the fiberglass one. Or I can do fiberglass.

I am torn between the two. Everyone does color matched these days, and while I don't know how the CF will look, I surely know I like the look of a black splitter. Keep in mind he still has black rubber trim around the windows. Here is a pic of my old one to give you an idea...

Well done Brett...I have decided with the color matched....Once the first one is all said and done and you guys have all seen the finished product, then w will decide if its a go or not to try and make these for some listers....That is the idea Craig and I are after.....We are both just kind of figuring out how much time and money it would take us to make some parts out of my garage once a formal mold has been made...If we make this work I wont want to stop there..Trust me....! Craig and I are just as excited about this and the possibility of being able to make them for listers along with maybe some other parts....And for the price...Well that will be determined once We figure the time and materials invested after we finish the final mold....The plan is to have the prototype completed and mounted on the car by midweek of next week, and start working on the formal mold shortly there after...If you guys like what you see when its all done of course....And there could be options of either fiberglass or carbon fiber of course...And there are even different styles of weaves in the carbon fiber cloth available....So we are laying th glass tonight, after the glass is layed tonight I will be sure to post some more info and pics tonight with our progress...

Oh and Brett it appears My girlfriend has to work late unexpected, so she wont get home till about 8...So it seems that Paul, Kristene, Even, Craig, and Collin are going to be coming over to just hang out and do some various projects I believe while Im laying galss...So if you and NIcole want to come over its all good. Oh and I have the video from our drive to MAtt's house finnally from Paul....Some crazy driving on that tape.....!

Hey Damian - one idea of another thing to build is the trim around teh hatch for the 968 style spoilers - you can't find them anywhere!
