Default Getting a new toy - '92 968

I bought a '92 968 today I fly out to NM Thanksgiving weekend to pick it up. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to the roadtrip back to AL. Look for a guy with shaved head going east on 40 on the 27th, that would be me Hmm, it matches the 924S in my avatar, imagine that.

Both my brother and I have guards red on black leather cars. I have the 951 and he has a 911 cab. He's got a saying and I am a believer in it. It goes something like "Once you go red on black, you never go back" :-)

It's actually not a complete match to the 924S, this one is red on cashmere. No fear though, I'm still stoked.

Welcome to the 968 world. Check out http://www.968.net/ for the great discussion boards, if you haven't already. ANd of course the 968 board here on rennlist is pretty good too.

Yes! Allow me to welcome another 968 into the Alabama fold! That makes three 968s of which I am aware in Birmingham and in parts northward. Mine is also a '92, and my father's is a '93. Congratulations! Don't worry, you're not crazy traveling so far for your 968.... I flew to Colorado in June. Happy trails!

Looks like you are a little low on coolant... May very well be the angle though... or other factors.

That car looks incredible. Im jealous. Would love an exact carbon copy. I love that interior color. Very similar to champagne.

Thanks guys. As soon as I drove my 924S, I got hooked on the handling and fun factor (soooo easy to control a slide). First things to upgrade include the suspension and sways. Followed, cosmetically, by 17's. I'd like to go with the same width of wheel front and back so that I can rotate; your suggestions on wheel options are welcomed.
