Usually I get smacked by an F250 with bush guards.

Yeah, one side of my bumper has already been pushed in from sitting in a parking lot. I want to try it myself this time though.

take the bumber off. work the shock out with a large screwdriver- working the piston side to side will return it to it's original position in the boot and piston isnt split or deformed.

I meant to say that my bumper was pushed in about 6 months ago. I fixed it then, and Dan was nice enough to give me his shocks, so hopefully I won't have to worry about compressing and decompressing them. Just swap the 2 out.
