Default Vintage PCar mag scans delivered, 56K nada!

OK, who says I dont enrich the life of Rennlist members because I dont know how to swap trannies. I give you these beautiful boogers, scanned from the January 1986 edition of Car and Driver. I also have managed to piece together two vintage PCar ads so far, one a tire ad with a 951 in it, and one a tire ad with a 962 and a 928. They were both two-page ads so I merged them in Photoshop and fixed all the staple/fold issues. They are 5-10MB each and I havent uploaded them anywhere yet. I also scanned the four-page foldout ads for the 944 and 944 turbo, but Ive yet to merge those together. That will take all day. I want to keep the ads big enough though to print so the res on them is mongo. More on the ads later, here's what Ive got done so far...

Great stuff! Cept for the part where it says "Porsche realizes that it can no longer deprive North America of it's best models." haha, sure they learned that. I'll believe it when I see some GT3RS's and modern Club Sport models being sold at US Dealers.

Damn I can't believe that is an article out of Car and Driver. Most of our magazines just suck today. They were right on establishing the 944 turbo's strong points.

I'd absolutely die if I saw a 917 actually on the streets. A while back before I bought my old 911 I looked at a well-done 100% porsche-spec 917 (minus the engine) and it was sporting a 3.0L w/drivetrain, awesome car and 100% aluminum/fibreglass, that car hauled *** but unfortunately seemed to be a "rush job" by the builder and needed some improvements for the price he was asking
