Default Winter storage

I'm putting my 83 944 NA up for the winter. With my RX7 rotarys I'd squirt a 50-50 mix of Varsol and ATF into each plug hole, spin the motor for 10 secs, replace the sparkplugs and that would prevent all sorts of bad stuff. Do you think that would be a good idea for my 944? Anyone put any thing anti corrosive into a 944 motor?

hmm... never heard of putting a Varsol/ATF mix. I dont imagine it would hurt anything, someone with more knowledge please chime in here. I wouldnt know as my car is meant to be driven, snow or shine! I do believe hearing however that the early 44's were made out of a different type of metal that corrodes MUCH easier, atleast compared to the late models. I sure hope Im not covered in rust come spring time!
