Question How do you replace the rear lock grommet?

Anyone done this recently and remember how to do it? Is it as straightforward as one would expect? Probably not, which is why I'm asking...

Put a little non-petroleum lube on the new one and push real hard. Thats about it.

Very easy to do, it just pops in for lack of a better term. I just replaced mine a few weeks ago. Now, I did have trouble trying to get it in and spent about an hour trying to fit in in the hole, it is a pretty tight fit. Then my friend Mike came over and he pushed it in in less than 30 seconds! It installs from the outside of the car and is just like any other grommet but the fit is very tight. Take your time and don't try and use a screwdriver to force it in for fear of scratching your paint. We used a little lube on the rubber to help slide it in place. Anyways, pretty straight forward, just snap it in. As a side note, if you don't already have a grommet, I picked one up from my local P dealer for under $7, probably the cheapest part on his list.

Thanks guys. I thought the lock assembly had to come out to replace it, but it just surrounds the lock cylinder. Duh!
