Default 944 S2 Questions

Have any of you guys supercharged a 3.0 (968 or S2) and if so, what are the drawbacks? I spoke with Don Jackson regarding Speed Force's supercharger and Don said it really bleads power at low RPMs (aka they had to advance the idle to 1200). True/Not true?? What's your experience?

Also, is there a more cost effective alternative to having SFR vent the nose panel (without damaging the paint)?

Chris, you can vent the header panel yourself but you should budget a respray (maybe 100 bucks).

As to your SC question, the palce to ask is 968forum.net as I believe a few of them have done the 968 and I dont recall ever seeing someone here do the conversion. Tim could also put you in contact with people who have bought the kit.

Post this question on the Turbo board. TurboTim is the one who works at SpeedForce that will be able to answer all these questions. In general, SpeedForceRacing knows what they are doing. They are pretty good at researching stuff when they make it.
