There's a hatch assembly on ebay that's taken from an 88 924S. Will it fit my 89 S2, or is the 924S hatch a different size/shape, etc?

Gotta fix the rattle!!

I think the glass is the same, the back spoiler is not as deep on the 924 versus the 944. Will probably fit.

The glass and hatch are the same. Of course, the spoiler is different, but it can be un-bolted off and replaced with yours. E-mail me with the price of the one on e-bay. I might be able to give you a better price.

Todd is correct- gl;*** and frame are the same. you'll have to swap the rubber
spoiler.

Fits and no need to remove the spoiler unless you wish to. Spoiler has no play on fitment.

Are you sure that the rattle is caused by your hatch and not the adjustment of the pins or a worn out hatch seal?
