I am planning on repainting my BBS wheels soon and was wondering what color to go with. The colors I am thinking about right now are black, a brighter gold, and a dull gold. The wheels right now are too dull of a gold gold and are starting to look bad.
The first picture is of what the car usually looks like. The second is how the lips looked the day I refinished them, and for some reason the gold on the wheels turned out bright, about the color I would go with if I went gold I think. Any ideas?

Just my opinion, but I think either a silver -probably aluminum color or a darker anthracite color would look better.

I still want to keep the lips silver. For the inside I either want a brighter gold, black or maybe gray. I wonder what like a stone gray would look like...

Anthracite seems like the way to go these days. Gold is too oldschool, and black is overdone.

Yeah, I don't really like the black idea that much. Either gray or gold is what I am thinking right now.

Cool, thanks faithless. I now know to stay away from purple... I am definitely going to go with a gray. I'm not sure which one I like the best, color matched to the car, dark gray, or the medium.

id go bright gold. you cant go wrong with gold on BBSs.
