Question Is this real??? Anyone ever used this???

The link is to a chip for the S2...does it look too good to be true? Or am i reading it wrong? (40tq extra?)

It looks like about 12ft/lb increase in torque.
It looks like the baseline numbers are a little high to me.

The thing about S2's (as I understand it) is that the factory required them to make at least 208HP. Most of them made more. I think a lot of chips forgo the 'before' dyno and just publish the HP the car makes, which is often a bit more than the advertised HP. That hand-drawn dyno chart does not suggest to me that it's based on real data.

It would be interesting to try a chip though.

With those mod chips you always lose to gain.....At least that has been my experience with my chipped 44....

well.....even the stock one dropps really bad.
I thought the N/A's (even S2's) had the peak at 3?

yeah, i don't remember my s2 hitting a brick wall at 3k. i remember 3k was where it started to move a bit

we dont' actually know the hp curve. that's just the torque curve stock vs. chipped

As far as i know, my cars says GO at 3500.

Default That baseline curve is from a turbo.

They used a turbo HP curve. Either because the 944 available in Europe as a turbo in 89, 90, 91 or they are misleading the public showing a turbo vs. a standard N/A.
