Anyone running 16" 235/60s all around?
I attended the Central CT Swap meet last week and picked up a set of 16" Borbet rims with 235/60s Dunlop M2s in like new shape. The PO is very knowledgable about P-cars including 944s and 951s and he said they would fit my 1986 951. I am currently running 17"s with wheel adaptors. The thinner tire I believe is preferable in snow. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks -

Stock size was 205/55 and 225/50 on 16" wheels.
235/60 are truck tires. Forget them. Heck they have not made M2's in years and i'd bet those tires are old too.
If you want a tire for the snow go with 205/55's on each corner of the car.

i got new M2s last year. 235/60/16 is a 27" diameter tire that would fit my wire's aurora if i didnt just get a set from ebay. aargh, we could have simply swapped. Our tires are 25" in daimeter.

In addition to your tire question that was answered above................
Test fit one of those wheels on your 951 before you run out and buy new tires. You want to make certain there is enough clearance for the 951 brake calipers.
