Agreed. I had never touched a car mechanically until I blew my head gasket, but that was the only option. In the end it was so much fun that I am now enrolled in UTI, with my start date of November 22 approaching. Wish me luck guys! I am going to learn automotive technology and am going to work as hard as it takes to get into the Porsche factory training.

Yeah right now im working with 9fitty1 (my friend derek) on a parts car he got that im buying. We are doing an engine swap and upgrading a bunch of stuff. The actual swap and stuff is a lil mind boggling but im still learning a lot of stuff thanx to him. My knowledge from when we started a month ago is like x10. Any questions i can always ask him or people on here. We've even got help from a guy near us who lent us a engine hoist, great guy. All i can say is it wont be easy but if you're like me u will love knowing about the car and being able to do some/most stuff yourself so HAVE FUN. My car should be running in about 2 weeks... IM SO ANXIOUS lol.

It is funny yes, but it is annoying too. I want the car, but at the same time I am a perfectionist and always find one more thing that needs an upgrade.
