Default Throttle Body Rebuild/Refurb

Is it possible to rebuild the throttle body?

Just had the throttle body off and it binds, when open. This causes the engine to "idle" at 4k revs. It seemed to be getting worse before it did this, ie at the begining of the week it was idling around 2000~2400 revs.

Just want to know if the bushings and seals are available before I pull the shaft out of it.

You can get it redone as a "bigbore" but I am not sure you want to do that as its $400

You might want to try getting in touch with someone at Powerhaus. I think they rebuild and bore out the throttle bodies, so they may be able to point you in the right direction, or even send you a kit.
