Default Sad day in Cinci

Yesterday night, on I-75, one of my buddies died after being ejected from his truck near lockland. He wasnt racing, or driving recklessly. He didnt have his seatbelt on and hit a camary in the wet rain. God bless his soul.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, Rock. How terrible! His family is in my prayers, and you are, too.

Let that be a lesson to everyone who decides it would be easier to just not buckle up. We hear so many stories of this happening and people still dont seem to get the message. How sad.

Sorry about your friend man, I know how it goes as I lost one of my friends in a motorcycle crash, he was just 18 too and doing nothing wrong, hit by a drunk.
Sad for the boys family for sure.

What is it with US legislators? The wearing of seat belts should be mandatory in all US states. That's the way it is in most other first world countries.
It has been proven time & time again that it prevents the sad, senseless loss of inocent lives.

Back in college my advisor's 16-year-old daughter died the same way. Truck rolled and she was fatally injured. She had her seatbelt on.

I know this will rub some people the wrong way, but IMHO pickup trucks are OK on roads, but the highway is no place for them. Too unstable at speed no matter how many sandbags you pile in the back .
