Nope, they aren't different. At least to the best of my knowledge.

Hmm, you seem to have quite the collection of parts!
Just curious, but what size are the sway bars? I would be interested in some 28mm+ front sway bars, and a rear sway bar as well. Had my car out on the track, and I don't like how much it leans.

Now the tricky part, I'm on a pretty tight budget, doesn't that make you happy? =)
I don't mean to cause too much trouble, I'm trying to figuire out what I can afford to fix/improve.

Sorry, just stock. But just a hint, try ebay! I got the sway bars mentioned in my sig, with bushings and the sway bars are near mint, for $100 cdn, most ppl ask 150-200 usd for the set :P

$250 USD insured thru fedex ground - total.. shipping alone is $125USD

unless you know of good international shipping companies? ups and purolator are more expensive then fedex.

How much for the rollcage? Is it a welded unit or a bolt on? Who built it? Last, how much do you think it will cost to ship to Kansas City, zip code 66218?

Regards,

I believe the turbo's had 28mm sway bars on the front, and rear torsion bars?

If that's the case, then factory turbo ones would work for me. =)

Definately greyhound bus for large things. They bill by longest dimesion and weight, instead of volume! =)

I just installed some bigger sway bars and stiffer springs on a friend's car, and I really like the improvement it made on his car.

thanks for the suggestion! Never thought of greyhound. I didn't think they'd be going all the way down to that area though, wouldn't hurt to ask.

The rollcage you're lookin around 300-350 usd. It has been spot welded in, i'll get you pics of it as well. It is however, a 12/13 point cage, not a reg. 4 point that most ppl look for. Shipping will be tough for this item, depends if you're a welder, if you are I can cut it at the seems and ship it like that otherwise the box would have to be the length of the car, damn near the height and width and shipping would be a fortune.

I'll measure the ice racer sways, you'd think they would be beefed up considering what it was used for, I'll also check the springs for you.

I have no idea about the springs, perhaps somebody on here knows. Did the turbo's have stiffer front springs? If they're the same, I'll just order the same set my friend did when I have the cash. His springs were $70CDN for the set, with spacers. Super-easy to install.

If the turbo sways and the ice racer sways are the same size, that doesn't mean they have the same effect. It's quite possible that the ice racer sway bars are made of a different metal, perhaps they are much stiffer?

Just a suggestion, but perhaps you should post the transmissions in a different thread, maybe with some rough asking prices? Might get more attention.
I'm sure there are lots of people looking for transmissions, especially LSD ones.
Maybe list the motor with them?
