Elitethink - Car is an 87, so the fuchs won't fit (and they are being held for another project, the car sitting next to the 951)
Richard - She is freshly back from paint, with the 968 mirrors, door handles, shaved headlight washers, shaved alarm key hole, rear bumperettes deleted. Looking very good, but a broken heater control valve has left her stranded in the garage.
Thirdgen - The bike is indeed a single speed that could run a bet drive, but I have a standard chain drive on there. It is a spot long board, and I love it.

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being showroom new, I think I would go with an 8. And that is about what I was expecting when I sent it away for the respray. But you are welcome to check it out any time, I hope to have it out at the next cars and coffee event.

just thought i'd give you all just a bit more background on with the fenders.... some might have been a bit too young to remember the shock the 959 sent around the world... compared to the 911/930/964 front end and fenders, the 959 immediately took ownership as the most beautiful 911, and when the 993 arrived, the world had been waiting six years, but the 959 style fenders were finally mounted on a stock 911... in 1997 Porsche made a nice upgrade with the HID light technology. this is a dead-pan impression (right down to a nice pair of 6,000 K Xenons) of what the front end of my car now looks like (except for the stubby, old style 911 front end).... mine is more curved (after increasing the length of the car by an inch to be able to morph the 997 valance with the 968 without killing it).... others have done the 993 headlight upgrade for the 968, but no one has ever made something that can work for the stock Porsche Xenons, (as the lamps must be set at exactly the same angle as on the 993 (steep), and additonal space must be cut away (just in front of the wheel wells) for the large headlamp assemblies... luckily this part of the inner fender assembly isn't critical to the rigidity of the greater front clip... finished pics will be up in a couple of days.
