Wow! What is that color? I almost choked on my morning coffee when the images came up.

We call this our 944 Zebra. It’s a 50/50 car - it looks great at 50 feet or 50 mph!

Who made those gauges? Speedhut? How did you integrate them into the factory gauge panel?

Maybe not the most beautiful but I am very happy with the panel work and respray my '86 944 has just had. Most of the progress photos are in the "what have you done to your 924/944/968 today?" thread. It was repainted in the original LM6Y crystal green metallic. The engine cam cover, fuel rail cover and intake manifold was paint matched to my wheels. I had the collapsible tyre taken off my spare and the wheel was paint matched in CGM too. The front splitter and rear spoiler needed a lot of work to fit and sufficiently secure. I need to replace a few bits like the rear muffler rubber hangers, black rubber strip on the rear bumper, rear licence plate lights. I've replaced the front wipers and put a new black cover over the fuel level sensor in the back. I have 968 bonnet struts on order. I'm trying out a set of autochaps on my front seats as my Only944 seatcovers on my drivers sport seat has wear on the outer bolster piping. The front badge panel gaps need a bit of fettling. It needs a really good clean and then I'll get it ceramic coated. I have new decals for the interior switches and rennline pedals in black to install. I got a used RHD non-airbag dash delivered from the UK last week with a few hairline cracks to fix and install. New LED dash lighting to come (perry951's LED reflectors and LED warning lights from superbrightLEDs) with brushed rings for the gauges.

Here are a few before photos, the parts photos and the car when I picked it up on Saturday.

Very nice work and great colors! I bet it is really healthy with the 968 engine!?
I am in the works of a 924 RS style car also with a 968 engine.

Just picked this one up. I’m new to the group. I have always been a 928 guy (still am); but I have always loved the 951. Bought this from a fellow rennlister.
