Not yet. I plan on selling at least a couple parts...then, for the right deal....MAY sell teh whole thing as I don't really have room to part it out....haven't decided yet though...how much do you guys think I could make out of parting it out?

ouch! glad to here you're ok, I'm always amazed at the punishment a 944 can take and the owner walk away... this is a recent wreck dropped off for me to sift thru, I'm told the owner basically climbed out and walked away

Now is probably an ideal time to convert it to a turbo.

Glad you are okay man. If someone did that to my car, you would be reading about me on the 11 o'clock news regarding a revenge killing.

How are coming out on the insurance, is it worth it as a 'buy back' for you to part it or is that too cruel? Again glad you weren't hurt, that was quite a thump you took.

So far the insurance has quoted me at 7k to buy the car and just under 700 to buy it back...so I am defintley doing that..but with a little help from a fellow lister, I may be able to get more out of it...

as far as what happend...I was pulling out of my driveway after a tractor trailor passed by (i live right on a major highway) and got plowed in the side by an SUV....the nice thing about this is that at first I was cited for just failure to yield, but with furthur evidence...it may be her who is at fault and not me....because with as far as you can see on this road on a nice clear day like the one the accident happend on...you can see for almost 4 miles straight ahead....and she still plowed into me...so it may be failure to slow down/go around to avoid an accident....here's hoping!

Oh man! I'm glad you're alright...I'm also glad you didn't have a passenger!

it's INCREDIBLE what these cars can take...but GEEZE! I'm glad you're alright, and now, I'm gonna play taps for your car. those pics are almost painful to look at. Here's to another Porsche in the near future.
