For anyone who missed the event, it was a hoot! I got a Porsche air compressor, some VW magazines, a ride in Tifo's magnificent beast, and the chance to laugh at Chris in person. I was in complete awe of all of the p-cars in attendance. Good showing by the water cooled gang AND our own 944 troupe from Ohio. Pete even walked away with a prize, but I've asked for a recount because of those hanging chads.

How far are people willing to travel for a Rennfest anyway? How about where the money is colourful and the beer is stronger? :-)

Take care and happy driving,

Glad that you had a good time, it was nice to meet you guys.

Hopefully the next time I take you for a ride we will find some twisty backroads instead of traffic-filled streets.

It was a pleasure to meet all you guys/gals too. It was a grand time, and maybe Tifo or Pete could offer me up a ride next time??? I know I'm not as cute as Jody, but what the hell, eh!!

I look forward to when I have my own 944/S2/951 to play with and ask all kinds of stupid questions!! I know I can count on some "interesting" replies from one and some good replies from everyone else

Looking forward to next time.

Hey, ya didn't ask! Sure, next time. I enjoy giving test rides. You may be as cute as Jody, I'm just not the kind of guy to notice.

"Not that there's anything wrong with that."

You're right, i didn't ask. Next time tho

I'm really interested to see what can be done with a NA car, tho I know I like boost and how "easy" it is to get more out of it. Not that I will necessarily be able to afford to do it, but it's nice to know the potential is there.

It's a classic! Sorry Chris but Jody asked.

I just bought a new house in March and had everyone over for a GTG/housewarming. Chris asked if he could change his oil in the garage and I said no problem.
He drained his oil out and then got to bs'ing and beer drinking and by the time he got back to the car he ended up pouring in 5 quarts of Mobil 1 without putting the drain plug back in!
A few bags of kitty litter cleaned it up.
I have pics at home that I may post later.

That's a good one... who could have thought Chris could be distracted by bs'ing and beer drinking?

I want to change my username to WKRP-car in Cincinnati. As an ode to my new friends.

Chris, have you considered buying stock in Johnny Cat?

I could see myself doing something like that. All the more reason to let a PROFESSIONAL do the work.
