I was thinking, I need to get a good set of autocross magnets for my car, now that it is done, but I started to look at that and realized, what I would really like is if I could get something like this made up:
So the question is, is this possible, I am not sure how to do this because i will need to be able to change classes and such if needed, so decals may not be the best idea, but I might just go for it, because the paint is not too pretty and I would eventually take them off when I give it a repaint. Any ideas? what have any of you done? how much did it cost? and where did you get it done?

I guess that is just what I will need to do, but if i did decide to go the decal route what kind of classing should i put on the car, because I need to be able to switch between PCA and SCCA autocross events.

The best bet is to get 2 sets made up with the whole thing being one piece that you can remove, install, switch, etc. One for PCA and one for SCCA. Either static cling (haven't seen them myself but I'm sure it could be done) of magnets would work.
idsigns would be my vendor of choice, Jose does amazing work.

I own and operate my own custom vinyl sign shop...with the permission of Rennlist I'd like to offer my services. You can PM me if you'd like but I would like the approval of Rennlist to procede.

mac - two different sets of decals would be my suggestion also. however, you'll be surprised (i think) at how expensive it is. for instance, i wanted a one-piece magnet for both sides of my car - pretty simple, one color, and the quote was something like $150.
i ended up ordering my own sheet of magnetic decal and cutting my own letters and numbers. i purchased a 24x36" sheet of 30 mil magnet, orange in color, for about $25 and made six different 8" tall numbers, and twelve different 6" tall letters. plenty of places on the web sell sheets of magnetic decals.
i can use it for SCCA (AS, ASP, BS, BSP, X, N) or PCA if needed
