Default Are these 968 caster blocks?

Well I bought new 968 caster blocks for the S2 since Porsche recommends them for upgrading to 17" wheels which my car has had for a couple years now since the new ones are supposed to have less rubber in them. Well I pulled the old ones off and they look identical to the ones I already had on there...they do to me at least! Can you tell by looking at them? I don't have any records on them being replaced already...the PET says the S2 has the old style and the new ones I got have the new part number, but they look the same to me. These are the ones I pulled off:

Can you get a pic a little closer up? The 968 parts had much less rubber than the originals in my car.

Looks like your car had already been upgraded. They are both the 968 type.

I had a feeling those things didn't look like they had 162k miles on them! I didn't clean those or anything that's how they came off. Musta been the very first owner that had them done since I have no records for it. Anybody wanna buy some used 968 caster blocks for a discount??

Yep, they look like tthe 968 units. There was an obvious difference between those and the older ones.

Bought the M030 ones myself for my 951, and I'll agree that it looks like your car already had them fitted.

If Sam doesn't want them, I am interested, as I need to upgrade the ones on my track car. Keep me posted.
