Talking Look what my brother just bought

to replace the 84 he sold to Scott. Guess he is addicted. Linnen exterior with blue interior, split rear seat, 10 speakers, all original paint. Now we both have 89s.

Best of all the seller was a pleasure to deal with. He posted the ad Saturday, I called an hour after it was uploaded, went to see it sunday. He works a few blocks from us and we went home with him, gave him the $$ and drove it home. Belts are on order from Chuck & Jason. Now all he needs is a set of edge guards.

Yep thats the actual mileage

What an idiot. We all know 944's are completely inferior to Camaros.

Just kidding, looks nice

There is an S on autotrader with early offset wheels. when I called about the car I told the father the car had the wrong wheels. he said "oh so thats why it rubs? DUH!

I called another guy about an S2 in New Rochelle NY. Sounded real good but he didn't want to deal with 16 valves. I don't blame him.

There is a red 86 on cars.com with 43k. He called on that car Saturday night and got voicemail. The guy returned the call on Sunday about five minutes after we shook hands on this one. Too bad, he could have gotten one in the rare red color.

We were going to show up in my S2 but at the last minute my dad asked if he could come. So we took the old geezers minivan instead.

So if people are looking for clean 944s, there is Chris' 89 automatic which I checked out and it is clean - very clean with fresh 968 rims and tires that my buddy wants but money talks..., and there is the 86 red one with 43k which if in the condition of my brothers is worth looking at. then there is the black 86 with 48k i looked at last year which was not sold in may when I ran a carfax on the vin. dont forget Antonio's freshly painted 87 with the touring package.

Nooooooo.....Don't put the door guards on the car if it did not have them already. Car looks better without them.

Nice car BTW!

Cheers,

Wow, 39K miles! Tell your brother that he just bought a very nice car. Better yet, tell him to join Rennlist so we can tell him ourselves!

This one is almost a dog compared to the 84 he bought three years ago with 32k miles. But after one afternoon in my driveway it will be as nice as his 84 was.
