Default Do you have to remove rear valence....

to get the bumper end caps off? If not, how do you get to the nuts?

It is easier if you remove the rear valance, !! never tried it the other way.

I guess the better question is: HOW do you remove the valence? I have the allen bolts from the bottom loose (well, 3 of 4 - the metal piece holding one of them is no longer anchored and spins with the bolt ), I just can't see what holds it along the outside edge. I may be able to see it better in the light tomorrow, but I can't get it tonight. Can anyone help me out? TIA

if you look down in the side wells inside the car, there are two 8/10mm nuts that hold the sides on...then two allens on each end and one in the middle...maybe two.

you don't need to remove the rear valence to get the bumper pads off. i thought so too, but you can reach your hand up there with a small rachet and get the bolts off. i think it's much less work than taking off the valence. i have medium sized hands.

Im not removing the pads but the rear bumper.
