Default Headlight Problem

I posted awhile ago about having a problem getting one of my headlights to stay up. I finally figured out what is happening, i think my headlight motor moved a little, causing the linkage to move, which causes the headlight to not touch the linkage causing it to fall down... my question is which way do I have to move the headlight motor to get the linkage to move so it will hold up the drivers side headlight. I was thinking i need to move the motor forward, but wanted some more input.
