Andre,
I'd love to get a look at that document you created before we start this project. If you think your e-mail could tolerate sending that big of a document, you could try to send it to me at eelfner'at'execpc.com (use @ instead of 'at').
Does anyone know the space limits on Rennlist web pages? I'd request one and dedicate it to that, but I don't know that John gives us that much space. I don't think turning it into a .pdf or zipping it will make it any smaller because I bet most of the space is from .jpgs that are already compressed. But it might make it easier for folks to read, and there's a nice free converter called PDF995.
Thanks,

Elf, Andre does have quite a few annotated color pictures in the document. I do have the disc but I only have a dial up connection and it is at 28 so would take forever to try and send and I can't mail the disc to you in time for the project this weekend. I hope Andre has a faster line and can get it over for you to post up on Rennlist. He really did a heck of a job documenting his whole process.

Hehehe, yeah, no one can say I use cheap cable. They have a thick EDPM insulation that will take about everything you can throw out, even steel wheel trolleys runing over them on concrete. And the fireproof sleeve. Glad you guys got together and it went well.

Had a great time getting together yesterday and appreciated all the help. Thanks Damian and Brett for doing all the work, and nice to meet Paul and Evan too. I'll put a new thread with some pictures up later today or tomorrow.
Iceshark, due to time constraints, we did not get the supplemental positive to the fusebox done, although we did attach the bundle of positives to the 150 amp fuse. What will that supplemental positive do for me? Is it something I need to finish quickly because it balances out the new, thicker cables, or can I save it for a winter's day?

Bolt up the positives to the 150 amp fuse. Don't hook the starter cable to this, though. Be fine until winter and you can run the supplrmtal positive to the fuse/rlay box.. It will pop up your car's electrics

Andre,
I did receive your write-up...today, and that's completely my fault because it appears you sent it Thurs night. I did not check that mailbox until I saw your message today. DOH!!! I'm sure it would have helped us, but we got it done and had some 944 bonding while trying to figure out what everything was and where it went. I will commit to getting it into .pdf and putting it somewhere for everyone to access.
Damian & Brett, sorry about that, but I had a great time and I think it'll just confirm we did everything right.
