Just out of curiosity, does anyone have the SLIGHTEST EFF'ING idea what the hell Tifosimian is blabbering about?

Am I just to old and lame to "get it" when someone responds like this and everyone else just goes on talking about the post and ignores it?

That’s why it's so bizarre, wouldn’t the supercharger restrict the turbo boost? Why not just reduce the pulley and let the supercharger do all the work???

Dan, I think he is quoting movie lines. I think his point is to say something as useless as the motor in the pic. Tifo?

hes quoting jack handey, SNL stuff,
And no, think about it, the supercharger is compressing the air even more after the turbos, think about a supercharger compressing ambient air, vs air thats already at 20-30 psi. Basically that motor is a jet engine with the motor to simply do the combustion and transmit the power

Mike, I get it. But the concept is still weird, If you can boost the SC to something beyond what even the SC body can handle, why even have the turbos?

Screw it, Ill stop thinking about it and spare everyone the headache....

I can't imagine that the driver's road visibility is very good with all that stuff sticking up.

Superchargers give low end torque a massive kick in the ***.

Turbochargers give highend punch.

Twinchargers give you more horsepower then the Queen Victoria

Anyone happen to notice that you can't even really see most of the motor?? The induction system is actually larger than the motor thats taking it!

Lol, they get better every day, but seriously.....its this button right here....a lot quicker.....

HAHAHA Would you expect anything less??

Looks like a GM, just not sure which. The front end definitely looks Olds or Chevy to me, though the rest of the body isn't as loargely proportioned for those as I'm used to.

Anybody want to shed some light on the subject?

Yeah, front looks early Monte Carlo-ish, side windows could be 74 Nova or 77 Chevette - I really can't tell.
