Default Cargo Shade

Does anybody have a WORKING rear cargo shade that they want to get rid of? I am looking for one that works.

Dal,

Sounds very good if it works well. Bought 2 already that don't work. If no problems with it you have a deal.

Dan,

Do you want to get rid of one that doesn't work? Mine is gone, I'm not too concerned with the rollability. Let me know how with shipping to zipcode 30622. thanks.

Athens,

Have to look. Don't think either of them are in their casings. I am sure you can rig them to stay in though. I will check on their condition. I have one in the houseing that doesn't retract but it is attached to the car I am selling.

Hey guy's- I realize you are referring to the roll-out type cargo cover, BUT... for future reference- the hanging kind is cheaper & MUCH less prone to breaking. So, just in case you ever need a future replacement:

I took mine (original from my turbo S- hanging style) to an interior specialist type place that recovers seats, etc- I showed it to them, leaving the aged-worn fabric on it for measurement purposes- they advised me use vinyl instead of cloth- well- it is JUST TWO metal rods w/fabric stretched b/t them- just ONE STITCH all the way across each metal rod & that's it- the best price I've seen for new ones is >$150 IIRC. Anyway, the place recovered mine for $50 TOTAL, including tax, materials, labor, etc... I was happy w/the results & posted about it here- it's just SUCH a simple piece that paying so much $$$ seems ridiculous- hence the reason you're looking for a used one... BUT, IF you ever come across one of the hanging ones in a junk yard that's in crappy condition, you should grab it, pointing out any unsightly tears, etc to get it for cheap- then just get someone to recover it... ;-)

I can get one.... give me a night or so... about to go to work.... I HAD it done in white/linen, as I wanted to change my interior color from black, BUT, I have since decided, that w/all the other stuff I need to do to this car, I really couldn't afford it at this time- so, I bought some black vinyl die to spray on- unfortunately, I needed another ~1/4 can(!). I'm going to buy another (maybe they sell a half can?) & finish it, although, you really wouldn't be able to see it in most photos I dont think- I just need to touch it all up a tiny bit as several areas still have some white showing through... MAN what a car this would be if I had the $$$ to do what I wanted..... anyone got any good business oppotunities I can get into, OR, better yet, anyone wanna pay me $20/hr to sit around & watch TV??? I'm thinking about setting up one of those sites like that girl did to pay off her CC bill.... just get online & ask... someone will donate.... ;-)

Lube the inner coil and the roller blinds will come to life again. Be sure not to get lube in the fabric.
